Welcome to the Polk County Sheriff's Office News Room, where the Public Information Officers (PIO's) post all of the information that they release to the news media. PIO's act as liaisons between news media organizations and the Sheriff's Office. The PIO's routinely release timely and accurate information and Crime Stoppers bulletins, and respond to routine and "breaking news" media inquiries. 18-year old accused of trying to kill three other teens during drug deal in Davenport

On Friday, November 28, 2025 at around 7:02 pm, PCSO deputies were dispatched to a shooting that occurred in the Palm Key Village neighborhood (off of US 27) in Davenport.

A 17-year old male had been shot in the calf and a 19-year old male had been shot in the thigh. Both were treated at a hospital and released. 

A 16-year old male was also shot at, but not injured.

The shooter was identified as 18-year old Wolph Blanc, from the Lake Heather Hills (off of Sanders Road) neighborhood in Davenport. An arrest warrant was obtained for Wolph Blanc, with charges of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder (3-Counts) and Discharging a Firearm in a Residential Area.

According to the investigation, the shooting occurred during a meet-up between Blanc and the three victims for the purpose of making a marijuana sale. 

Early Tuesday morning, December 2, 2025 at around 1:45 am, Wolph Blanc turned himself in at the Orlando Police Department for his Polk County warrant. He refused to answer any questions about the crimes he is accused of committing. 

Blanc is currently in the Orange County Jail awaiting transport to the Polk County Jail.
