17-year old arrested for multiple car burglaries north of Davenport

Media Contact: Brian Bruchey

During the early morning hours of Monday, March 16, 2026, the Polk County Sheriff's Office helicopter was high above RISE Citrus Ridge Townhomes (off of Citrus Ridge Drive) north of Davenport.

At around 1:09 am, the Aviation Unit noticed a suspicious person on Palmer Road who appeared to be prowling.

That person was then seen entering a parked, unlocked vehicle.

Aviation relayed the information via the radio, and continued to monitor the suspect's actions while multiple PCSO patrol units responded to the area, along with K9, Haines City police, and Davenport police.

As those units were responding to the area to set up a perimeter, Air6 radioed that the suspect rode a bicycle to the adjacent neighborhood, Prestwick Village. There, the suspect began pulling on car door handles, attempting to burglarize vehicles.

Deputies moved in and captured the suspect without incident. He was wearing blue latex gloves.

The suspect was identified as 17-year old  Travis Adam Frasier of Davenport.

Frasier was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center in Bartow.

The detective found that Frasier had been put on Probation on January 28, 2026 for Burglary of a Dwelling and Trespassing of Occupied Structure/Conveyance. His curfew prohibits him from being out between 6pm to 6 am. He was charged with Violation of Probation and for Violating the Youth Protection Order. He was also charged with: Burglary of Conveyance (F3, 2-counts), Attempted Burglary of Conveyance (F3, 6-counts), Possession of Burglary Tools (F3), and Loitering and Prowling (M2).
