The swans and their eggs are back home!!!
Thanks to some tips and some fine detective work, PCSO Agriculture Crimes Unit detectives located the two swans and their six eggs (we originally thought there were four eggs) in Cutler Bay, Florida.
At around 4pm, Monday, February 17th, detectives returned the swans to their Highland Village home in Lakeland.
Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for 29-year old Alfredo Casanova and 27-year old Jordan Montoya (both of Homestead) for grand theft and burglary of a structure.

During the evening of Wednesday, February 12th, two black swans and four of their eggs were stolen from the Highland Village Mobile Home Park of Lakeland, at 375 Brannen Road.
The theft occurred between 9:04pm and 9:43pm.
